An alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus, David is a Director of Photography based between London & Los Angeles. David's debut feature Bypass received its world premiere in competition at the Venice Film Festival before a nomination for Cinematographer's Debut at Camerimage & winning the Grand Prize at Goldeneye Cinematography Festival. His next feature, Blood Cells, also premiered at Venice, before a nomination for The Michael Powell Award at Edinburgh. David then shot Netflix Original Series, The Innøcents, starring Guy Pearce. The dark Scandinavian/UK drama was Netflix's first European 4K HDR show and premiered across 190 countries in August 2018.
With early roots in documentary, David now shoots drama & commercials internationally, with experience shooting in nearly 40 countries worldwide. Maintaining a careful balance of dramatic work & technical challenge, David's work has graced awards at the likes of Abu Dhabi & Cannes Lions as well as a BIFA, VMA & Manaki Brothers nominations and five nominations for Golden Frogs at Camerimage Festival for the Art of Cinematography.
